Clinical Medical Assistant

 

The Clinical Medical Assistant program will provide a
cross-trained health care worker. With multiple exit points,
the program will training in front and back medical office,
basic nursing assistant, phlebotomy, electrocardiograph,
and advanced nurse assisting skills.
 
Students will be trained in the skill of examining room
procedures, obtaining vital signs and medical histories,
performing routine laboratory  procedures, sterilizing and
maintaining equipment, and the proper techniques
for administering medications as directed by the physician.
 You'll also learn to handle administrative duties.
